To honor her work, VICPP and Kim’s close friends and colleagues are establishing the Directors’ Legacy Fund dedicated to help strengthen VICPP’s reserve funds for future sustainability and program growth. We are grateful to the family of the founder of our organization, Reverend Jim Payne, for providing the initial gift to establish this fund. We would appreciate any additional contribution you can make to this fund.

As we continue to watch policy decisions on the federal level and wait for Governor Youngkin’s action on the bills that were sent to his desk, please keep your eye out for additional action alerts.

Just this morning, Kim and I were on a call discussing strategy related to possible cuts to Medicaid funding. We will share more information soon!

Yours in Solidarity,

Rev. Dr. LaKeisha Cook
Co-Executive Director
