There are many things I like about the book, but the key themes I most appreciate are:

• We can solve poverty if we want to.
• We need significant policy changes.
• Most of us are complicit with the systems that keep people poor.
• We must all have skin in the game -- make personal commitments to ending poverty in addition to advocating public policy changes.

This book would be a good congregational book study. We are going to use this summer's sessions as an opportunity to develop book study questions designed for faith-based communities. So, feel free to schedule a Fall or Spring book study at your congregation and we'll get you the study guide questions by the end of August.
